Art in the Age of Biotechnology

For my MA dissertation I considered how art about biotechnologies could provide a unique space for emotional and ethical reflection on complex scientific developments. I presented some of my research at the Royal College of Art conference ‘Intimaterial’, and participated on a panel focused on interspecies interaction (we discussed slime(!) amongst other things). I sought out this opportunity following a call for papers, wanting to share the work I had been doing rather than keeping it behind closed academic doors.
